Zac Willett

Art Director / Motion Designer / Creative Swiss Army Knife

I’m a hands-on Art Director and senior-level creative nearing two decades of experience building brands, campaigns, and content that connects. I currently operate within the in-house creative department of a national credit lender, where I’ve helped elevate and evolve visual communications across digital, print, motion, and in-branch channels. From shaping brand standards from the ground up to delivering high-impact work, I partner closely with cross-functional teams and clients to keep creative sharp, strategic, and compliant.

I’ve been trusted to own every visual touchpoint—helping shift the creative culture toward smarter, more agile in-house solutions that reduce reliance on costly agency work.

I cut my teeth freelancing and spending time in the agency world, creating everything from custom vehicle wraps and magazine layouts to direct mail packages, social campaigns, email experiences, and large-scale promotions. I have also served as the go-to photographer for several publications, capturing everything from headshots to live event coverage. I thrive in environments where teamwork, strategy, storytelling, and execution come together to move the brand forward.

Outside of work, I bring that same high-energy approach to the things I love most—being outdoors, cycling and chasing our two full-throttle kids as they pursue their passions in BMX, gymnastics, jiu-jitsu, and softball/baseball—alongside my wife and our adventure-loving dog. That full-send mentality is rooted in my earlier life as a professional motocross racer, where I spent over 20 years pushing limits in the industry.
